We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2023. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Watch your ambitions become reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at ByteDance.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following internship cycles below: -
1. Summer Internship - 08 May 2023 to 28 July 2023 (12 weeks)
2. Off-cycle Internship - Starting 09 January 2023 or 14 August 2023
We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit in either internship period. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

About the Team
The design intern will work closely with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to develop materials that articulate our brand and product value. He/She will be working with other designers to define key digital interactions that impact how consumers perceive our brand, using various methods from design research, interaction design, and brand design. The role includes creating graphics and updating existing materials from our overseas team.
Responsibilities

• Attend weekly design meetings to learn what the team is working on, and participate in design critiques to ensure the quality of design
• Use digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Figma to create a wide variety of design assets
• Support the creation of all BytePlus visual assets, in collaboration with our global team, and help to develop a system of icons for future projects
• Create visual designs for a variety of touchpoints, such as campaign mock-ups, data visualisations, and product web pages
• Manage BytePlus stock requests, eg. image, videos, audio library, etc
• Research independently to keep abreast of trends in UI, visual, and brand design

Portfolio/Projects achievement after internship

• Gain experience in the tech industry
• Work on at least 1x LinkedIn campaign
• Work on 1x product factsheet
• Work on a set of icons or illustrations for console/website UI
• Work on something fun, eg. BytePlus wallpapers
• Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master/PhD in Marketing, or a related technical discipline.
