Cad Designer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment to create 2-D mechanical drawings of difficult scope, under general supervision.
Incorporates red-lined drawings per engineering input and Engineering Change Orders/Notice (manual and Computer Aided Design (CAD)).
Prepares detail and assembly drawings on Computer Aided Design (CAD) per engineering inputs (rough sketches or layouts).
Updates printed circuit board (PCB) drawings, including schematics, fabrication, assembly, and artwork on Computer Aided Design (CAD), as well as manual artwork.
Generates formal drawings with sections, detail views, and auxiliary views. Drawings must contain all information for release to manufacturing or vendors.
Assists in completing special projects as assigned, including simple design tasks based on mark-ups and verbal instructions from engineers.
Interfaces with vendors as required.

- Has no supervisory responsibilities
