Responsibilities of a CAD Drafter

Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software based on design specifications and sketches. Collaborate with architects, engineers, or project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings. Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes, client feedback, or field modifications. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, local codes, and industry best practices. Maintain organized drawing files and proper documentation for project tracking and revisions. Interpret design intent from rough sketches, notes, and verbal instructions. Assist in preparing construction documents, layouts, plans, sections, and detail drawings. Coordinate with other team members to integrate structural, mechanical, or electrical elements into drawings when needed. As and when required to conduct site visits or liaise with field personnel to verify dimensions and resolve discrepancies. Support the design team in meeting project timelines and deliverables
Requirement- Minimum 2 years of experience in preparing autocad drawings for alumininum and glazing works, as well as metal works.
