Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe
Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
Hire, onboard and develop new front of house and kitchen staff, assisted by Head Chef
Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
Coordinate with vendors and order supplies
Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
Add new menu items based on seasonality, together with the Head Chef
Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
Generate promotions and programming to boost cafe traffic
Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Requirements
5.5 - 6 day work week
Diploma with 2-5 years of food and beverage service industry experience
Excellent leadership skills, experience leading a team
High school diploma or relevant hospitality experience
Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed

We're looking for a Cafe Manager who's not just great with operations, but who truly cares about people, quality, and creating a comfortable, inviting space.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service at all times.
Stay updated on current coffee industry trends and brewing techniques.
Calibrate coffee machines daily to ensure consistency and product quality.
Ensure the cafe complies with hygiene, food safety, NEA regulations and company standards.
Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Monitor stock levels, place inventory orders and coordinate with suppliers for timely and accurate replenishments.
Maintaining high standards for beverage preparation, presentation, and food quality.
Achieve sales targets while controlling costs to ensure overall profitability.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment to develop and motivate team members to uphold service excellence.
Oversee staff scheduling, manage workflow and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience managing a cafe or F&B outlet.
Good understanding of coffee, including origins, processing methods, roasting profiles, brewing methods and flavour profiles.
Ability to effectively educate the team you are leading in the above.
Working knowledge of equipment calibration and cafe operations.
Ability to do latte art
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Enjoys building team culture and taking initiative, with good leadership, communication and people management skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and techniques
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
