Calibration Engineer II

A Day in the Life

• Provide technical support on ESD testing, and calibration of Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment (IMTE)
• Develop and maintain calibration & maintenance methods, processes, capabilities, and procedures
• Perform investigation and impact assessment on equipment Out of Tolerance (OOT)
• Conduct training to calibration technician
• Review and approve calibration reports
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage personal workload and meet assigned deadlines
• Ability to develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems
• Ability to apply technical principles to solve problems in measurement and calibration
• Planning for equipment/ tooling and ensure the calibration activity is carried out before the calibration due date
• Review and ensure calibration documentation updated in the calibration database is in accordance with calibration requirement
• Ensures efficient coordination of projects and tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering
• Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable on Calibration Management System or any other related software
• Good analytical skills
• Technical writing skills
