Prepare students for Cambridge A-level exams with a focus on past papers, structured practice, and targeted feedback.
Create clear, well-structured lesson plans and drills covering mechanics, electricity, waves, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
Use experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications to make Physics interactive and relevant.
Track student progress, identify weak areas, and set personalized goals for improvement.
Provide regular updates to parents and collaborate with the academic team on curriculum and teaching resources.
Requirements
Strong academic background in Physics (Bachelor's degree or above in Physics, Engineering, or related field).
Prior teaching/tutoring experience in Physics at O-level/IGCSE/A-level (or equivalent).
Clear and confident English communication skills; able to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Patient, energetic, and able to motivate mixed-ability learners.
Professionalism, reliability, and a student-first mindset.
Nice to have
Experience teaching across multiple curricula (Singapore O-level, IGCSE, A-level, IB, etc.).
Track record of helping students achieve significant grade improvements.
Bilingual ability (Chinese/English).
Schedule & Compensation
6-9 hours/week to start, weekdays.
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
