Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, using diagnostic equipment and computer software.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
- Perform scheduled inspections, testing, and tune-ups on vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts and labor costs.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed safely and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Order and maintain an inventory of replacement parts and supplies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics or other team members.
