Job Description

Location: Central

Working hours: 5.25 days, staggered hours

Responsibilities:



Plan and manage individual patient care using the nursing process: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation in the Closed Monitoring Unit (CMU). Conduct all necessary pre-procedure checks upon patient admission. Prepare patients for procedures by administering pre-medications and shaving the appropriate site; closely monitor patients post-procedure and notify the cardiologist or attending doctor of any abnormalities. Assist in procedures and prepare various instrument trolleys for interventional procedures. Ensure patient safety by applying principles for the administration of contrast media, considering contraindications and patient history. Respond to and manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently, such as during a Code Blue. Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Nurse Manager or Clinician.

Requirements:



With a minimum qualification of Diploma or Degree in Nursing.

Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board is a must.

Min of 1 year of experience in cath lab
