The Cargo Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving cargo revenue growth and strengthening the commercial presence of
Garuda Indonesia
and
Citilink Indonesia
within the local and regional markets. This position places strong emphasis on building and sustaining high-value relationships with cargo agents, co-loaders, freight forwarders, and key industry partners. The successful candidate will lead strategic channel engagement, expand market reach, and promote the airlines' cargo products and capabilities to support long-term, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue, tonnage, and market share objectives for Garuda Indonesia and Citilink Indonesia.
Drive strong channel engagement by establishing, maintaining, and expanding productive relationships with cargo agents, co-loaders, freight forwarders, and interline partners.
Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to broaden the customer portfolio and enhance market penetration.
Conduct regular sales visits, joint calls, product briefings, and training sessions to equip agents and partners with updated airline cargo offerings.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and booking performance to identify opportunities for growth and recommend timely corrective actions.
Manage customer inquiries and service issues promptly, ensuring a consistent standard of service excellence that supports partner confidence in both airlines.
Work closely with internal teams across operations, reservations, and finance to ensure seamless cargo handling and service delivery.
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to support management planning and decision-making.
Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the air cargo, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
Experience with airline cargo systems such as Cargo Flash, or similar platforms, is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted and influential relationships across all agent channels.
Customer-centric approach with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
