About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter (Installer) who specializes in the installation, customization, and maintenance of notice boards, projectors, whiteboards, and other carpentry-related fixtures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of materials and a strong understanding of how to adapt and customize board sizes and structures to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain notice boards, whiteboards, projectors, and related fixtures. Customize board sizes, frames, and materials according to specifications. Perform on-site carpentry tasks including measurements, cutting, and fitting. Ensure installations are secure, safe, and aligned with client requirements. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing installations. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter/installer, preferably with a focus on boards and fixtures. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and installation techniques. Ability to take accurate measurements and make precise adjustments. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physically fit and capable of handling installations safely. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with educational institutions, offices, or commercial fit-outs. Knowledge of different board materials (e.g., cork, glass, whiteboard surfaces). Knowledge of various suppliers for board materials. * Ability to suggest and implement customized solutions for unique requirements.
