: Responsibilities and Duties

Construction and Installation:

Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and frameworks.

Install fixtures, including doors, windows, cabinets, and trim like baseboards and crown molding.

Reading and Planning:

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.

Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately.

Maintenance and Repair:

Repair or replace damaged or outdated structures.

Perform maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.

Quality and Safety:

Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with safety and building codes.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


Follow established safety protocols at all times.

Job RequiremenTs: Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

Proven experience as a carpenter.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, routers).

Solid understanding of carpentry techniques, methods, and materials.


Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Physical and Mental Attributes:

Strong physical stamina and strength for tasks like heavy lifting and working long hours on your feet.

Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.


Good spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
