Our Information & Cyber Security (ICS) team sits within the Transformation, Technology & Operations (TTO) function and is responsible for all mission-critical and enterprise-wide areas of cybersecurity, including identity and access management, global threat intelligence, data protection, malware protection, and application and infrastructure security. These are challenges that impact our clients globally.

The successful candidate will be part of the CASE (Change, Control Adoption and Onboarding, & Stakeholder Engagement) cluster within the ICS (Information Cyber Security) Portfolio Enablement hive. As a Chapter Lead, you will drive the outcomes of colleagues involved in change communication and stakeholder engagement strategy and activities across our cross-functional squads to deliver on their objectives and key results. You will empower colleagues to optimise stakeholder relationships, aligning expectations and priorities and engendering best practice to achieve business goals. In return, we will support your development by providing professional training and development opportunities to enhance your skills. The role reports to the Head of CASE.

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Lead the ICS CASE Demand Management function to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
ICS Leadership Team, ICS Portfolio Management Team, ICS CISOs, Country Technology Management, CIOs, ICS Portfolio Enablement and Delivery Team partners (Chief Scrum Masters, Chief Product Owners).
Other Responsibilities Functional leadership
Develop a Stakeholder Engagement chapter and/or Community of Practice model including colleagues involved in stakeholder management and communication from across ICS.
Disseminate knowledge and best practice on stakeholder engagement and change communications across the hive squads.
Empower ICS squads to solve their communication challenges.
Ensure compliance to communication and stakeholder management standards and act as ICS\'s communication Subject Matter Expert to both external and internal stakeholders.
People development
Coach and mentor chapter members through both 1-on-1 sessions and ad-hoc feedback sessions.
Define personal development goals and training needs related to Stakeholder Engagement and Communication skills for each chapter member.
Conduct stakeholder management related performance evaluation for chapter members by collecting feedback from their Product Owner and from other squad members.
Business steering
Provide input to other Product Owners in the hive to support Stakeholder Engagement and Communication related team strategies and priorities.
Our Ideal Candidate
10 and more years of experience leading and executing audience-focused, strategic internal and change communications initiatives.
Ability to develop effective and collaborative working relationships at all levels of the organisational hierarchy.
A successful track record of advising and coaching senior management on how to effectively communicate and engage with their audiences.
Leveraging the unique vantage point of working across programmes to "connect the dots" for stakeholders, driving a consistent approach, presentation and narrative and ensuring appropriate positioning and timing for engagement initiatives.
Experience working closely with multiple stakeholders to build trust and understand their goals, motivations, constraints, risks, and operating environment and tailor approach accordingly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience delivering across a range of communication channels. Track record in creating and developing content to support or enhance a strategy/narrative.
Implementing measurable targets to assess the success of stakeholder engagement and visualisation in building support for change programmes and to drive continuous improvement in our capabilities.
Reporting on milestones/successes and enabling feedback to facilitate engagement and buy-in.
Leadership through example and building the appropriate culture and values.
Experience in a global matrix organisation would be an advantage.
Demonstrated track record of leading teams to deliver objectives.
Previously coached and mentored team members with regular feedback sessions.
Agile / SCRUM
Product Owner or Chapter Lead certification is beneficial but not essential. Ways of Working and Chapter Lead training and coaching will be provided to the successful candidate.
