Job Description
Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Cashier Supervisor to ensure accuracy of the monies collection and provide training to the cashiers.
What Will You Do
- To be responsible to provide training and coaching to the cashier on the POS Machine.
- Ensure accuracy of the store\'s daily monies collection, including foreign currency note, bank deposits and accuracy of the cash and cashless transaction records.
- To work closely with the finance team on the month-end closing.
- Rotating to schedule on cashier supervisor\'s duty roster.
- To support the cashier if they are unable to resolve cashiering issues by dealing positively.
- To ensure all cashiers have sufficient currencies of various denominations of sales transactions.
- To handle petty cash.
- To lead by example and excel in customer service and cashiering skill knowledge.
- To attend meetings and conferences.
- To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Retail Manager.
- At least 3 years of cashier supervisory experience.
- Professional and pleasant personality.
- Able to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
