Job Description
University Health Centre (UHC) set up under NUS, is a holistic healthcare provider for the entire NUS community. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team under UHC to perform a variety of tasks under close supervision, following well-established guidelines, in processing of prescriptions, dispensing duties, inventory management, and other administrative duties.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervisor to ensure safe, accurate and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications to patients
- Ensure timely replenishment of pre-packed medications
- Maintain drug inventory and alert the supervisor when the stock level is low
- Ensure proper storage of drugs and cleanliness and tidiness of pharmacy
- Assist in the inspection of stock condition and check to ensure minimum product\'s shelf-life is met
- Participate in the routine pharmacy stock-taking exercises
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties, or ad-hoc departmental projects/activities as assigned by the management
- GCE \'O\' Level with a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course (under MOH, PSS or its equivalent) / Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent
- Prior relevant work experience in healthcare will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
- Good team player and self-motivated
- Pleasant personality with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
