Permanent Role Working Location: Harbourfront Working Hours:Monday to Friday (8 to 5pm or 830 to 530 or 9 to 6) Monthly Salary: Up to 7500 Entitled for 1-month AWS Entitled for Employment incentive plan based on company performance Annual Leave starting from 15 days What\xe2\x80\x99s the role? As a Catalyst Technical Sales Engineer that have at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in crackers plants. Your primary responsible include but not limited to:

  • Promote the sales of Catalysts and Specialty Chemicals products in the assigned territories through personal visit, correspondence, and telephone, as well as through agents.
  • Utilize complex kinetic models for reactor design and customer support purposes.
  • Provide catalyst proposals for acetylene converter design/operation.
  • Provide technical support to new and existing accounts, monitoring, optimizing, and trouble-shooting any challenges and complaints by providing technical services through Operational Excellence.
  • Participate in acetylene reactor loadings and ethylene process unit start-ups and training of users.
  • Negotiate complex Catalyst and non-Catalyst contracts, review and submit government supply tenders.
  • Attend to customers\' enquiries, complaints, and feedback on non-conformances for corrective action.
  • Respond to emergency distribution incidents and complaints promptly and communicate to stakeholders timely.
  • Prepare proposals to establish or renew on a timely basis credit lines to current or prospective customers.
  • Monitor and collect payments from customers, developing and implementing effective programs to manage any delinquent account.
  • Determine market prices of assigned products and recommend price exceptions to meet competitive situation.
  • Build customer relationship, provide commercial assistance to customers, potential customers and agents, and refer request for unavailable technical and business requests to the appropriate group within the company.
  • Prepare short and long-range forecast of sales for assigned products, for use in sales/marketing management or sales/marketing plans.
  • Prepare and submit customers\' requests for quotation of assigned products.
  • Recommend solutions to problems on products, application, packaging, quality, shipping, and handling with the help of appropriate groups within the company.
  • Submit recommendations and opinions to supervisor regarding pricing, credit terms, advertising, sales plans, technical services, and marketing proposals.
What we need from you:
  • Legal authorized to work in Singapore without work/employment visa sponsorship requirement.
  • At least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in crackers plants
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience with ethylene plant operations - experience in the acetylene converter operations area is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of ethylene manufacturing experience
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable talking to personnel of all levels in Petrochemical plants and Crackers
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Job Type: Permanent Pay: Up to $7,500.00 per month Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
  • 13th month salary
Experience:
  • crackers plants: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
