Details of the Division and Team:

Support the origination, development, due diligence, approval, and monitoring of project finance transactions in energy, renewables, and energy related infrastructure sectors. The Corporate Bank growth strategy includes expanding the existing business into Project Finance to our diverse Corporate Bank's client base. Key focus will include sustainable projects in utility-scale solar, wind, batteries, and transmission networks, with future expansion into other asset classes. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of closing successful transactions in these areas including in developed markets such as Australia and ECA covered transactions in developing markets in APAC.

This is an important role within the Project Finance growth pillar of the Corporate Bank. The successful candidate will be required to support the seniors in the team and work closely with colleagues within the existing Structured Trade Export Finance and Natural Resource Finance businesses global and regional teams. Furthermore, the successful candidate should possess a deep understanding and analytic skillset of Project Finance, notably within the energy and renewable space.

Your key responsibilities:

Responsible for providing support to the deal teams in the origination, structuring and execution of transactions (including preparation of information memoranda, term sheets and financial models)

Provide key support in conducting the necessary due diligence on transactions and counterparties

Responsible for the preparation, submission and presentation of credit proposals and perform credit risk analysis

Support the implementation of transactions with various teams including legal, distribution and credit solutions, collateral management and operations

Provide support for the origination of a pipeline of renewable/infrastructure finance deals with the Corporate Bank's core clients

Support in the monitoring of deals throughout deal lifetime

Your skills and experience:

At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in project finance, related financing and/or advisory experience in the renewable energy and/or infrastructure sectors (including power, oil & gas, telecommunications)

Hands-on experience and involvement in end-to-end deal process including due diligence, financial modelling, credit proposals, term sheets, legal documentation

Strong credit and financial analysis skills

Strong analytical and communication skills

Self-motivated and strong team player, with an inclusive nature

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
