What you will be working on:
Marketing Communications o Develop and review ACRA's engagement workplan to establish strategic priorities and stakeholder engagement approaches o Create and implement strategic communications plans to effectively engage the public and external stakeholders Develop and execute ACRA's crisis communications plans, including message development and media management) o Manage vendor relationships for ACRA publications and collaterals Coach and supervise team members in: o Enhancing ACRA's profile through publications, social media, editorials, and media interviews o Content curation and development of ACRA's communications calendar o Conceptualising, designing and publishing ACRA's annual report and bi-monthly ACRAConnect newsletter o Special projects such as website revamps Media Relations o Develop comprehensive media engagement strategies and cultivate strong media relationships to secure positive coverage, pitch story opportunities to the media. o Conduct in-depth analysis and risk assessment of ACRA-related issues in the public domain, recommending appropriate response strategies such as media briefings, media engagement, forum letters/opinion pieces; and work with departments to address specific issues). Stakeholder Engagement/International Relations o Support Senior Management in developing strategies to better engage and build networks with key international and domestic professional bodies. o Work with counterparts in partner agencies to shape whole-of-government international relations Initiatives, o Represent ACRA at international/regional/inter-agency platforms and official visits. o Coach and supervise officers in international and domestic engagement activities, including: o Evaluating International Relations and Professional Bodies events o Drafting talking points and speeches for Senior Management stakeholder sessions o Organising and promoting events hosted by ACRA or partner organisations
What we are looking for:
Requirements o Professional Qualification in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields o 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications roles. Competencies o Project Management: Strong ability to plan, monitor progress, and deliver outcomes on schedule whilst effectively managing external vendor relationships o Strategic Thinking: Creative problem-solving skills with ability to work within resource constraints to develop innovative communication solutions o Communication Excellence: Good writing and communication skills to effectively convey ACRA's messages, initiatives, and services to diverse stakeholder groups o Digital Proficiency: Social media expertise including platform management, content editing tools, video and photo editing software, and web content management systems o Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional environments whilst continuously learning and adapting to new challenges
