Conduct pottery classes (wheel throwing, hand building, glazing, and painting) for beginners to advanced learners
Demonstrate proper techniques and provide hands-on guidance to students during sessions
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment by monitoring the use of tools, materials, and equipment
Prepare lesson plans, class materials, and project samples to enhance student learning
Foster creativity, patience, and skill development among students of all ages
Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment handling
Provide feedback, encouragement, and progress updates to students
Assist in workshops, events, and community-building activities to promote ceramics and studio programs
Manage inventory of clay, glazes, and other materials used in classes
Contribute ideas to improve teaching methods, class engagement, and overall student experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Candidates with at least a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially pottery;
Minimum 3-years' experience with ceramics teaching or equivalent;
Possess intermediate knowledge of ceramics and pottery (wheel-throwing, trimming, glazing, slip casting, recycling clay);
Able to make sake sets and teapot sets;
Experience with teaching ceramics will be an absolute advantage;
Passionate about working in the ceramics industry;
Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers;
Willing to work weekends and public holidays;
Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills.
Possess leadership skills, responsible and well-organized individual;

Key Deliverables:
Deliver 100% of scheduled classes, ensuring engagement, comprehensive coverage of ceramic techniques, and consistent evaluation of student progress.
Achieve a minimum of 80% student retention rate in ceramics courses, indicating satisfaction and continued enrollment.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student projects within two weeks of submission, ensuring students have opportunities to improve and refine their work.
Engage in personal artistic practice, producing new work and maintaining an active portfolio, and sharing knowledge of evolving techniques with students.
Track and report on material inventory, assisting in the procurement and restocking of clay, glaze, and other necessary materials at least once per semester.
Ensure all student projects are stored properly for future reference or exhibitions.
