Our client is a Global Logistics and Transportation company and provides a range of services including air and ocean freight, land transport, and contract logistics.Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:Safety Management

• Execute the HSE program at the plant, aligning with corporate HSE policies, programs, and ISO45001 standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Update and maintain HSE documentation for the company and specific projects, ensuring all records are accurate and current.
• Fulfill all obligations under the Workplace Safety & Health Act, ensuring that operations meet both local and international safety regulations.
• Review, approve, and oversee contractor work requests, risk assessments, and permit requirements, ensuring safe and well-documented contractor activities
• Participate in required HSE meetings, conduct inspections and audits, and implement corrective actions to uphold workplace safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager, demonstrating flexibility to support organizational needs

Operations Management

• Secure competitive shipping rates and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Manage shipment processing, documentation, and ensure timely collection and delivery of goods
• Collect COD payments prior to releasing shipment documents to maintain financial accuracy
• Communicate effectively on operational matters, close job files promptly for month-end accounts, pursue sales leads, and contribute to planning new services
• Complete various tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager

Job Requirement(s):

• Certified Workplace Safety & Health Office
• Polytechnic Diploma or Degree
• At least 2 years of HSE experience in construction, oil & gas, or other major industries.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with ISO14001 / ISO45001 standards and Integrated Management Systems
• Possess Class 3 Driving License
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Internal auditor or assessor is advantageous.
