The Company
Our client is a fast-growing organization with a strong presence across Europe and Asia. With a diversified portfolio spanning investment banking, microfinancing, property investment, and fintech, they are currently in an exciting phase of regional expansion. To support this growth, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their finance function across Asia.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors, the CFO will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the Asia region. This includes:

• Group consolidation and financial reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Managing audits and tax compliance in coordination with external parties
• Supporting M&A activities and post-merger integration
• Leading projects focused on process improvements and finance system implementations
• Working closely with the senior leadership team and board to drive business strategy and regional growth

Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

• Chartered Accountant with 15-20 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
• Proven experience working with and presenting to the Board of Directors
• Prior experience in a public-listed company environment
• Strong track record in M&A support and post-merger integration
• Proficiency in IFRS 9, especially in relation to Expected Credit Loss (ECL)
• Exposure to operations in less-developed markets across Asia (e.g. Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, and Mongolia)
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
