Job Description
Our client is a Trading MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Charterer to be part of their Shipping team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Town \xe2\x80\x93 easily accessible.
The Duties of Charterer:
- To monitor day to day operations, as well as monthly performance
- To keep up with the shifting trends by sharing market intelligence and news articles with dealers and charterers
- To provide a reliable chartering service that enables traders to negotiate executive contracts and offer competitive freight, in addition to the combined market outlook and realtime reports on shipping market conditions.
- Follow competitors\' movements to gain a better understanding of the market flow in order to encourage traders to tender for the provision of an achievable firm indication and assessment.
- To work together on maximising the profitability, such as loading opportunities and swaps of ships, with internal or foreign counterparties.
- Min Degree in Logistic/ Supply Chain
- Extensive experience in dealing with charterers, vessel owners, and brokers in Oil & Gas industry
