Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate
Chef
to lead and support our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong wok skills, a deep appreciation for Penang and local cuisine, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of Penang-inspired tze char dishes
Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality and presentation meet restaurant standards
Manage food preparation, inventory control, and kitchen cleanliness
Train, guide, and motivate junior kitchen staff
Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with management to create new menu items and seasonal specials

Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Cook in a tze char, zi char, or Asian cuisine setting
Strong wok and sauce-making skills preferred
Ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Positive attitude and passion for culinary excellence
Valid Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
