Job responsibilities


Kitchen Operations:

Oversee all day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure a smooth workflow.

Menu Development:

Plan and create menus based on seasonal availability, budgetary requirements, and customer preferences, ensuring they feature authentic South Indian dishes.

Food Preparation:

Ensure all food is prepared, seasoned, and decorated to high standards of quality and consistency.

Staff Management:

Supervise, guide, and mentor junior kitchen staff, including training them on cooking techniques and upholding kitchen standards.

Inventory and Budgeting:

Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, place orders for ingredients, and control costs.

Hygiene and Safety:

Implement and maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Key skills and knowledge


Culinary Expertise:

Deep knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients, as well as specific items like dosas , thalis , and murtabaks.

Leadership:

Strong leadership skills to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment and motivate a team.

Organization:

Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Innovation:

Passion for developing new and authentic recipes.

Hands-on Experience:

Practical experience with various kitchen equipment, such as Tandoori , Kadai , and Dosa Kal* .
