Tiong Bahru Bakery is looking for a

Chef de Partie

to join our Savoury Department at our Central Kitchen. We are seeking someone with

experience in making pies

(savoury or sweet). Experience with quiches is an advantage but not required.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and produce a variety of

savoury and sweet pies

, quiches, and savoury baked items. Handle dough preparation, mixing, rolling, shaping, and baking with consistency and accuracy. Prepare fillings, sauces, and mise en place according to production schedules and SOPs. Ensure all products meet Tiong Bahru Bakery's quality standards for flavour, texture, and presentation. Maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO), storage, and labelling of all ingredients. Work efficiently with the Savoury and Pastry teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards. Assist in new product testing and seasonal menu items when required.
Requirements

Experience in pie production is required

(savoury or sweet). Experience making quiches is beneficial but optional -- training will be provided. Prior experience in a central kitchen or high-volume production environment is preferred. Strong understanding of dough handling and baking fundamentals. Able to work independently and take ownership of your assigned section. Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
