  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
  • Ensuring the quality of food served up is always consistent
  • To monitor the condition and cleanliness of the chillers
  • To ensure the practice of FIFO at all times by the department
  • Monitoring inventory levels and informing the head chef of any shortages or excesses
  • Follow all rules & regulations set by head chef
  • Follow hygiene regulations in handling food
  • Ensuring a smooth operations within the kitchen area to the best of ability
Requirements:
  • Culinary education and at least 3 years of work experience
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to prepare and cook dishes to high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptability to changes in the kitchen and work environment
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen team
  • Able to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $2,200.00 - $2,700.00 per month Work Location: In person
