Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
Advice Front of House on food allergies and intolerances.
Be familiar with ingredients used, and seasonality of ingredients.
Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and kitchen.
Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards.
Assist Head Chef with tasks.
Assist colleagues with work.
Complete any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Prerequisites:
Have at least 4 years experience in French, Italian or Japanese cuisine.
Fast learner, a self-starter with positive mindset.
Be observant and pay attention to details.
Have excellent personal hygiene.
Responsible and a good team player.
Keen on learning new skills and tasks.
