Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Mise en place for food service.
  • Prepare ingredients and sauces.
  • Cook staff meals daily.
  • Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
  • Advice Front of House on food allergies and intolerances.
  • Be familiar with ingredients used, and seasonality of ingredients.
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and kitchen.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist Head Chef with tasks.
  • Assist colleagues with work.
  • Complete any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Prerequisites:
  • Have at least 4 years experience in French, Italian or Japanese cuisine.
  • Fast learner, a self-starter with positive mindset.
  • Be observant and pay attention to details.
  • Have excellent personal hygiene.
  • Responsible and a good team player.
  • Keen on learning new skills and tasks.
