Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Chemical
- Position Title: Lab Technician/ Lab Technologist (Chemical Application)
- Working Location: Tanjong Penjuru (Company transport provided at Buona Vista/ Jurong area)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5.15 pm
- Salary Package: Up to $3,500 + Transport Allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus + Insurance
- Duration: Permanent
- Provide technical and application support to the leather department.
- Aid in the development of new products and perform application testing in the laboratory.
- Assist in the daily operations of lab testing and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure a well-organized lab environment and adhere to safety standards.
- Maintain high SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards.
- Support the Application Manager in daily tasks.
- Diploma in Applied Chemistry/ Chemical Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering or its equivalent.
- Prior exposure to the chemical, coatings or paints and printing inks industry preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Regional travel may be required from time to time.
