Job Responsibilities

Lead a group of Production Technicians in the safe and smooth running of the production.
Assist the Process Engineer to conduct activities and projects to optimize operation during Shift to achieve operational and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot plant/equipment/quality issues and recommend countermeasures.
Monitor and ensure plant equipment integrity and reliability.
Assist the Process Engineer to support Shift operation by providing suitable operating conditions for stable plant operation and product quality control.

Requirements

Possess Degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent, experience in petroleum, chemical or polymer industries added advantage.
Have knowledge of process control and troubleshooting, hands on knowledge of plant equipment and instrumentation.
Essential prerequisites include good analytical and technical report writing skills, ability to be a team player with leadership, initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.
