Job Description

Reporting to Manager, Technical, this position will provide support for the manufacturing process for the chemical plant by ensuring that the production process strictly follows company safety standards and environmental regulations, and the quality of products are within customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in process troubleshooting and recommend appropriate countermeasures for process efficiency improvement
• Conduct investigations and analyze plant trouble issues, and identify areas which require improvement or appropriate corrective actions
• Facilitate trial production to support product improvement and development
• Identify areas of opportunities for process improvement, modification and optimization ideas
• Conduct HAZOP studies and ensure safe operation of the manufacturing process
• Provide technical support in quality investigations and studies
• Perform regular inspection and ensure optimal condition of manufacturing equipment
• Conduct training to technicians on manufacturing process and equipment

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-driven, independent and resourceful
• Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills
• Possess good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Willing to work in Jurong Island
• Able to perform overtime work if required
