Job Description
Working Days: 5 days\' work week
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Office Location: Sungei Kadut [Provide company transport from Yew Tee MRT]
Salary: $3,000 - $4,500
The Chemist is responsible for the implementation of product analysis, new products R&D and raw materials evaluation. Assist in QC/QA programs for company\'s materials and products.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop products and achieve cost-performance optimization for both existing and new products
- Provide technical oversight and expertise as required
- Oversee the entire development process of new products and programs within an organization, from the initial planning phase to implementation or production
- Coordinate with IRDS and other BU R&D to exchange, update products information
- Identify and localize the technology transfer products requested by marketing department
- Evaluation of competitors\' products to compare with company\'s similar products
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating new raw materials to ensure products conformity and competitiveness
- Document all R&D procedures and reports and monitor implemented programs to ensure efficient use of resources
- Bachelor\'s Degree/ Diploma in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience and 2 years of relevant experience in R&D laboratory field
- Have knowledge of construction chemicals including Epoxy, Polyurethane, Polyaspartic required
