• Determining the confidentiality, integrity, quality, technical, health and safety aspect of the company.
• When necessary, updating of test methods and working instructions.
• Identifying and developing new areas of work and the corresponding test equipment required.
• Highlighting unusual results and referring them for further investigation.
• The interpretation of standards in accordance with operating manual.
• Supervising all work related to the section(s).
• Training and supervising all staff in the section(s).
• To conduct internal audits.
• Ensuring that all equipment in the section(s) are calibrated in compliance to schedule.
• Ensuring that the requirements of SAC-SINGLAS are met

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Science, or equivalent with at least 3 years related laboratory experience.
• Experienced with method-related tasks
• Possesses SAC Singlas signatory experience
• Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
• Optional but with preference, 1 year of team management/leadership skills
• Night shift allowance will be provided.
