- Lead and manage the finance team
- Responsible for overseeing all cash management, investments, budgeting and financial reporting activities and ensuring that they drive the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial strategy
- Explore new investment opportunities and provide insight on potential returns and risks
- Direct and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
- Manage the financial budget for all business units and provide advice on future forecasting and budget
- Analyse the financial reports and financial trends to provide strategic recommendations to the management on improving the financial outlook of the company
- Implement ways to further strengthen and improve current internal controls
- Ensure sufficient cash flow for the company\xe2\x80\x99s operations
- Ensure compliance with the relevant accounting regulations
- Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization and ensure that is in line with the long term operational budget and forecast
- Establish yearly financial goals that align with the company\xe2\x80\x99s growth plan
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial finance and/or investment banking
- Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 in proven leadership and management experience
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant field and/or CA/CPA qualified, strong bonus if you have an MBA or previous finance and fundraising experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excels in a fast-paced, high growth and rapidly changing technology-driven environment.
- Prior experience in commercial finance, investment management, fundraising and corporate development is required; experience in and exposure to IPO, M&A and/or JV experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate concisely, both written and verbal, and are highly tuned into the capital markets\xe2\x80\x94 you have a strong ability to pitch, hone in on, refine and substantiate strategic. recommendations through analytical insights, quantitative analysis and financial/decision modelling
- Regional exposure in South East Asia in a leadership capacity, prior investment vertical, commercial or business development ownership is a strong plus
- Results-driven and execution-focused, motivated and entrepreneurial; ability to own outcomes and make things happen with a strong sense of urgency
- People-centric, driven by a desire to make a significant positive impact with high levels of integrity and consistency as well as dependability
- Strong budget management and financial analysis skills, ability to manage investments wisely to have the highest leverage or return effect on each dollar investment skills
