ROLE

The CFO is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the school's financial health, driving fundraising initiatives, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong background in finance, accounting, and investment management, with proven experience in fundraising and private equity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development and execution of financial strategy aligned with the school's mission and growth plan. Oversee accounting, treasury, audit, tax, and risk management functions. Drive fundraising efforts, including private equity, private fund, and institutional investors. Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies. Manage relationships with auditors, bankers, regulators, and investors. Provide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making. Develop and mentor a finance team to support organizational growth. Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards and education-related regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CA preferred). Minimum 10-15 years of progressive finance leadership experience. Experience in both financial institutions (audit/finance firms) and corporate environments (buy-side or sell-side). Proven fundraising experience, ideally within private equity or education-related sectors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent command of English (spoken and written) Adaptable to a fast-paced international school environment.
