Chief Financial Officer (REIT)

Our client is a Singapore SGX-ST listed with UK-focused REIT manager with strong track records. They are looking to hire Chief Financial Officer, based in Singapore, to work closely with the CEO and the management team. As an integral member of the team, you will be involved with formulating investment strategies and spearhead the financial reporting and analysis for the REIT\'s operations. This will include tax and treasury matters, as well as finance and accounting matters, overseeing implementation of the REIT\'s short and medium-term business plans, capital management activities and prudent financial management policies.

Key responsibilities: -

  • Responsible for overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts, co-ordination with external auditors, and managing tax affairs of the REIT;
  • Accountable for both long term and short-term financial strategy and planning, and providing for the REIT funding requirements (both debt and equity) and treasury matters;
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance, analysis, forecasting risk management and corporate services and preparation of performance reports for investors and regulators;
  • Responsible for ensuring that the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational;
  • Responsible for developing key business strategies together with the management team;
  • Ensures principle base governance and executes the strategies through financial management;
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders;
  • Reviewing and formulating all formal Finance, Compliance, HR and IT related procedures; and
  • Assist with any other duties assigned
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting and a qualified CPA
  • Progressively responsible financial leadership roles
  • Relevant experience in REITs, Real Estate Trusts or Real Estate Listed companies.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and forecasting
  • In depth knowledge of Corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
