Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company goals Partner with CEO and executive team on strategic planning, M&A, and investments Provide actionable insights based on financial data and market trends

Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning Monitor key metrics (e.g. revenue, cost control, profitability) Deliver regular financial performance updates to the board and leadership

3.

Accounting & Reporting

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS or GAAP Oversee month-end and year-end close processes Coordinate with auditors, external advisors, and tax consultants

4.

Risk Management & Compliance

Assess and mitigate financial and operational risks Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements Maintain appropriate internal controls and governance structures

Cash Flow & Capital Management

Optimize capital structure and manage working capital efficiently Lead fundraising activities, investor relations, and banking relationships Oversee treasury, liquidity, and cash flow management

6.

Team Leadership

Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounting team Foster a high-performance, ethical, and collaborative culture Oversee HR, Legal, or IT functions if included in the role scope (common in smaller firms)

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics; MBA or CPA/CA preferred At least

10-15 years of progressive finance experience
