Job Description

1. Global Market Entry and Entity Establishment:


Lead the end-to-end legal process for establishing and structuring our business entities in key international markets. This includes conducting thorough market-specific legal research, managing registration processes, and ensuring all entities are set up for operational success from day one.





2. Contract and Document Management:


Take ownership of all legal documentation for our global entities. You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining a comprehensive suite of contracts, legal templates, and corporate documents to ensure they are current, enforceable, and fully compliant with diverse local statutory laws and regulations.





3. Legal Risk Management and Mitigation:


Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, and compliance risks across all international operations. Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks, policies, and training programs to protect the organisation's interests and reputation globally.





4. Strategic Legal Advisory:


Serve as a trusted legal advisor to the senior management team. Provide clear, concise, and strategic legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, international business law, and strategic initiatives, enabling informed decision-making that supports our long-term objectives.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognised university. Admission to the Singapore Bar (or a recognised foreign bar with a relevant practice certificate) is required.


A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant focus on international corporate law, commercial law, and entity management.


Proven track record in establishing business entities across different jurisdictions and managing complex, cross-border legal and compliance matters.


Deep understanding of corporate governance principles and international regulatory environments.


Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
