Job Description

Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel to IMDA on regulatory, corporate, and industry development matters. Draft contracts, manage compliance, and advise on litigation and dispute resolution. Collaborate on legislative and policy development with stakeholders. Identify and mitigate legal risks through governance policies.. Advise on regulatory affairs in Telecommunications, Post, Media, and Data Protection. Support IMDA in developing and enforcing legal frameworks. Draft and review contracts, agreements, and regulatory instruments. Manage litigation and contentious issues where required. Provide legal risk management strategies and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Law. Must be admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore. 6-8 years' Post Qualification Experience (PQE). Experience in corporate in-house counsel role or legal practice (preferred in TMT, ICT, or Data Protection sectors). Prior litigation experience is advantageous. Strong foundation in TMT/ICT law, competition law, and administrative law. In-depth knowledge of Singapore's data protection regulations (PDPA). Contract drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills.
