Assist the Teachers to provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story telling Assist to establish routines, provide positive guidance and build children's esteem Monitoring learning progress of students Building good rapport with parents and students Provide safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable Perform other related duties as required Candidates must possess at least a Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills Have a passion for educating young children Able to work independently as well as in a team Successful candidates will enjoy an excellent remuneration package Assist in the execution of routine care activities e.g. feeding/meal time, diapering/toileting, bathing/washing, sleeping/napping Assist in the preparation of learning activities, teaching aids and learning corners Assist in cleaning/disinfecting of resources/toys Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activity plans for the class assigned. May be allowed to carry out activity plans with the supervision of mentor teacher Assist in documenting observation of children or activities while carrying out activities with children Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned Preferably with early childhood related certificate (e.g. Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education) Preferably with 1 years of relevant work experience as a relief teacher in preschool environment Proficient with MS Office Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills Able to work independently and also a team player Down to earth, family-oriented, approachable traits
