Childcare English Teacher
Job Description
The teacher will be required to -plan developmentally appropriate lessons for PG children (grp size of 8-10) -plan for inter-generational activities with both the residents of the home and childcare -Work within the child care centre\xe2\x80\x99s policies, philosophy and procedures -Plan and co-ordinate change in consultation with the centre\xe2\x80\x99s operator/licensee, management, staff and families -Work with programme staff to develop a holistic and developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum -Ensure that centre\xe2\x80\x99s service meet the needs of children and families Experience, Qualifications and Training Requirements
- Has at least 5 GCE \xe2\x80\x9cO\xe2\x80\x99 level credits including EL or MT.
- Has the Diploma in Pre-school Education - Teaching (DPE-T) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T), or its equivalent recognised by ECDA.
- Has been registered with ECDA and attained a L2 certification
