Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Chinese Language lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities (G3 Higher Chinese/G3/ G2/ G1 Chinese).
- Develop students' proficiency in language, literacy, and critical thinking through innovative and applied learning approaches.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment design, and professional development.
- Mentor and guide students as a Form Teacher, fostering a caring and supportive classroom culture.
- Contribute to the holistic education of students by supporting co-curricular activities and school events.
- BA (Chinese), Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Diploma in Education from NIE or any other equivalent teaching qualifications
- Passion for applied learning, creativity, and interdisciplinary teaching.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a student-centred approach.
Contract Roles: 2-year contract (Have chance converting to perm)
