About the Job You will be making chocolate with the team, from roasting cocoa beans to tempering and moulding bars. This is a physical job, but it\xe2\x80\x99s a labor of love. You will need to be attentive to detail and have the desire to be a part of building something great. Key Responsibilities

• Production: Learning and performing all steps of chocolate production: sorting cocoa beans, roasting, refining and conching, tempering, moulding and wrapping bars
• Safety: Adhering to strict safety standards and following proper machinery, food safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining our production facility, including machines.
• Goals: Being a producing member of the production team, which produces over 20,000 bars each month.
• Other tasks as necessary

Requirements

• A passion for chocolate and food!
• Ability to absorb new information in a fast-paced environment and to complete tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• The ability to take directions as well as self-direct.
• Positive attitude. People want to work with you.
• Keen attention to detail. You adhere to quality standards even when it\xe2\x80\x99s not convenient.
• Excellent time management skills. You use your time efficiently and proactively look for other tasks when you have finished your task and have unexpected downtime.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring long hours of standing, bending and walking throughout the shift.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $1,600.00 - $2,800.00 per month Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
