:

This role sits in the J.P. Morgan Prime Brokerage Capital Advisory Group, focusing on Capital Introduction. In addition to the primary Capital Introduction aspects of the role there are opportunities to broaden your skill-set into the Consulting-related functions. Japanese fluency is required.

Capital Introduction responsibilities:

• You will help maintain relationships with hedge fund clients and institutional investors and match our services and products to their needs. Primary focus will be on hedge funds and investors based in Singapore, Japan, and Australia.
• Assist local and global hedge fund managers with their growth plans by providing expertise on both the Asia-Pacific institutional investor market, and US, European, and Middle Eastern allocators investing into the region.
• Contribute to content and events germane to the Asia-Pacific hedge fund industry.
• The role will coordinate with the entire global Prime Brokerage franchise and will also partner heavily with all the various desks across the firm that cover our hedge fund client base, including Equities, Fixed Income, and Futures & Options.

Your Background:

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in financial services.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant subject.
• Preference for prior experience in any of the below:

• Capital Introduction, Prime Brokerage Consulting, or Prime Brokerage Sales.
• Hedge Fund Marketing/Investor Relations.
• Hedge fund allocator roles.
• Deep knowledge of hedge fund strategies and trading styles as well as Prime Brokerage business dynamics.
• Pre-existing hedge fund and/or institutional investor relationships are a plus, but not required.
• Proven ability to synthesize and communicate complex subject matter, both verbally and in written format.
• Confident communicator.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.

Languages:

• Written and spoken Japanese fluency is required as part of the role will be responsible for managers and investors based in Japan and will require travel to the region
