Job Description

As an Analyst in Sales, you will be responsible with the day-to-day execution Convertible bonds primarily but have exposure to trade High yield bonds, Asset Swaps, Equity options, single name CDS amongst others. You will transact in these products across a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds etc). You will work with our partners in trading, syndicate and research to provide comprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates, assisting with the execution of client orders and providing clients with market intelligence. You will be responsible for the trade execution process including trade booking, new issue order taking and general sales back-up across the desk. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in identifying market drivers and product lingo while showing a high degree of interest in learning about other products while developing a cross-product skill set. The ideal candidate has a strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency.

Day to day- generating trading ideas, managing secondary flow, cross selling Credit and Vol products, helping to manage primary distribution and connect clients across the regions amongst the various parts of the day to day role.

We have a need for a highly driven individual to join the sales team who is a keen to learn about new products, enjoy developing new relationship and working closely with trading.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing day to dat flow and generating business for the desk
• Manage existing client relationships and develop new ones with a view to leveraging our cross-product offering and maximizing the potentially opportunity with each client
• Prepare daily updates, comments and analysis for internal and external consumption
• Work with our internal global partners to further develop our business

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
• 1+ years of Sales experience in a relevant investment banking / markets sales role
• Understanding of the sales process and the willingness to learn on the job
• A good working understanding of Convertible bonds as well as the associated hedges used by clients on a daily basis
• Sound control processes and accuracy of execution when under pressure
• Good excel competency to run analysis and collect data
