Job Description


We are looking for an Associate level candidate to join the Futures and Derivatives Clearing business to work in the Execution Connectivity team. The team is responsible for all aspects of electronic trading for Listed Derivatives across the globe, engaging the firm's clients from origination to onboarding as well as providing execution consulting. The team drives client onboarding process improvements and innovations within the Listed Derivatives space working with technology teams, internal partners, various Exchanges & Regulators, and clients.

The role involves electronic trading systems administration; configuring global client connectivity for various electronic trading systems executing into global exchanges, mindful of Regulatory and Audit requirements and in compliance with the firm's policies regarding market risk and regulation. You will interface with Audit and Compliance departments to ensure that Exchange and Regulator enquiries are addressed promptly and accurately. You will ensure that Connectivity procedures are clearly documented and compliant to internal and external rules and regulations.

Other tasks for the role include but not limited to:

  • Coordinating with technology teams to setup a client to execute

  • Coordinating with the client, Risk & Limits teams on implementing trading limits

  • Market Data distribution management

  • Trading system vendor management

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum of 3 years working experiences in financial industry

  • Experience and proficiency with electronic trading products such as platforms, FIX and data networks would be beneficial

  • Experience and proficiency in trading Listed Derivatives would be beneficial

  • Have a great attention to detail

  • Have strong interpersonal skills and growth mindset

  • Exercise good work ethics

  • Alongside fluent English, proficiency in Mandarin language will be a plus as the job holder may be required to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
