Job Description


The Client Service Manager for Citi Private Bank Insurance is a critical role responsible for providing operational and service excellence for the business and our clients. The role requires the professional to have deep understanding of Insurance processes and Industry requirements to manage full Insurance Sales application lifecycle.

Position is expected to have required experience to navigate complex situations and manage timelines effectively to meet expectations of internal and external clients within applicable compliance procedures and regulatory expectations. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision .

Responsibilities:

  • Own the client Insurance application lifecycle and execution process to ensure transactions are booked as per agreed service standards.
  • Be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and manage all Insurance Applications and their status to ensure policies are submitted to Insurance providers in timely manner and as per agreed process.
  • Actively manage the day-to-day operational & processing activities of Insurance business to deliver high level of service complying with internal procedures and regulatory policies.
  • Work towards Simplifying the client experience and eliminate delays by taking ownership of cross-functional matters and mobilizing the appropriate resources to ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Take ownership of client investigations (e.g., documentation, policy value inquiries and payment status) and collaborate with insurance companies, operational and middle office teams to ensure effective resolution.
  • Oversee new client onboarding and implement process enhancements to improve client onboarding experience
  • Keep the unit in Audit ready mode by ensuring proper documentation, tracking, record-keeping, MIS and compliance to risk and control requirements.
  • Understand/interpret the nuances of requests from Sales teams and work with stakeholders to create solutions/alternatives in client and business interest
  • Develops end-to-end capability, infrastructure & process improvement plan to support improved quality service.
Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Self-driven & motivated individual with strong expertise in Sales & Service Support, Middle Office, or Operations
  • Experience in leading and driving process improvements/ client initiatives to achieve better client service
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred background in Insurance Products and Processes in HNW Segment
  • Exposure to lead and drive tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and analyse data with demonstration of attention to detail
Education:

Bachelor\'s/University degree, Master\'s degree preferred or equivalent experience
