Event Description:

Citi Singapore\'s Early Careers Team is seeking passionate FinTech enthusiasts to participate in a week-long hybrid hackathon, consisting of innovative and engaging programming to support professional development.

What To Expect

You\'ll have the chance to apply your skills in a real business challenge and learn more about a leading financial services institution. Over the course of the hackathon, you will get to engage with Citi professionals through mentoring and in-person networking sessions. You can also look forward to accelerated interview opportunities. Teams that make it into the finals happening on 8 September stand a chance to win attractive prizes.

Who Can Participate

We welcome all undergraduates whose expected graduation dates fall in Dec 2024 - Jun 2025. You should have an interest in or knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, frontend ReactJS, Angular, Scala, DevOps, Data Science.

Timeline

• 10 July 2023 - 7 August 2023 (11.59PM SGT): Registration period
• 8 August 2023 - 18 August 2023: Announcement of confirmed participant groups on a rolling basis
• 4 September 2023: HackOverflow 2023 Kickoff (Virtual)
• 6 September 2023: HackOverflow 2023 Activities (Virtual)
• 8 September 2023: HackOverflow 2023 Presentation Day (On-site)

You need to be at the Citi Office (3 Changi Business Park Crescent, Singapore 486026) for a full-day event Registration Details

You can sign up individually or as a team (consisting of maximum 5 participants) with your peers. Groups with less than 5 should expect to be grouped with other shortlisted participants during the hackathon.

• If you are registering as a team of 2-5 participants, the Team Leader will have to send an email with the subject title \'[Citi HackOverflow 2023] Team Registration - TeamName >\' to citi.tech.hackathon@citi.com including:

• Team name
• Full names, school and application emails of all team members
• T-shirt Size (XS-3XL)
• Shortlisted teams will be notified via email latest by 18 August 2023.
• Please use one active email address throughout the entire application period.

Registration closes on Friday, 7 August 2023, 11:59PM SGT . Slots are limited, and applications are assessed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early. No late applications will be entertained.
