Job Description

Prepares key project documentation, civil & structural conceptual design, calculation and drawings as per requirements to execute the complete scope of civil and structural works as per project requirements Reviews and checks drawings/ documents and drawing part list to ensure consistency with technical specifications and statutory authorities rules and regulations, complying with design codes and building regulations Coordinates with Production support team members, civil & structural consultants, subcontractors as well as authorities to seek advice and approval on the design works before project submissions Participates in project meeting and technical discussions, attends to basic technical queries and resolves technical issues related to civil & structural design and compliance to ensure project deliverables are met Provides cost estimation for civil & structural works, involves in the selection of materials and equipments to determine required scope of supply (i.e.materials, standards and documentation) for the project Generates reports on work progress and forwarding the information to senior team members for review and approval, retaining and maintaining project database for future references Performs technical studies on civil & structural works, cooperating with Production team members and subcontractors to improve civil &structural design, construction and commissioning for yard structures and buildings Works closely with external business partners including subcontractors and consultants to improve methods on civil & structural analysis and calculations for buildings/ foundations Provides updates on all aspects of civil & structural design works and maintains information from the past projects as lessons learnt for improvement in future projectsRequirement Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering The Engineer have some knowledge exposure in Design/Construction of workshop , building and marine work-related field.
