Civil Engineer (building Construction)
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for tender process by providing technical engineering information to ensure compliance with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions
Assists in the preparation and assessment of cost estimates and the documentation for tender and contract bids
Liaises with architects, authorities and other technical colleagues to ensure that the design intentions are met
Preparation of BOQ and documentation, this includes, post tender clarification, technical planning, method statements, tender presentation and etc.
To work closely with team members in feasibility study and design, and ensure delivery of quality service for clients
Highlight to management on the potential design and technical issues
Familiar with local regulations pertaining to building, construction and safety
Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of working experience in building construction field in Singapore
Expertise in building engineering & technical knowledge and skills
Knowledge of design/coordination and the Building Code Requirement in Singapore
Knowledge CAD, 3D BIM, Civil/Building engineering design systems software
Preferably senior level with design, technical and consultancy experience
