Civil Engineer (Oil & Gas | EPC)





This is a perm role for one of our client in the Oil and Gas Industry.





Location: Near Labrador MRT


Monthly Salary: $4,200 - $5,500


Work Week: 5-day work week

Job Requirement

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team and support the engineering design and execution of onshore industrial facilities, including oil refineries, petrochemical, and chemical plants. Candidates require to have strong experience in structural calculations, reviewing civil drawings, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Job Scope

Prepare and review foundation, structural, and hydraulic design calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Conduct load calculations and verify structural sizing according to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Support the development of 3D models and detailed shop drawings. Generate anchor bolt and setting bolt lists for procurement and construction teams. Provide clear, concise technical data and guidance to designers and other stakeholders. Review, validate, and approve design drawings for compliance, constructability, and safety. Collaborate with project teams across FEED and EPC phases, ensuring timely deliverables. Assist with field engineering activities, including troubleshooting and resolving site issues. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). 5+ years of relevant experience in civil/structural design for industrial projects. In-depth knowledge of the Singapore Building Code and authority submission process. Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation. Strong technical understanding with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience in EPC project environments is highly desirable.
