Job Description

The Civil / Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing analysis, design and detailed engineering of Plant / Non-Plant buildings, pipe racks, foundations etc. The candidate should also be conversant with the process of preparing MTOs, BOQs and be involved in the reviewing and checking of drawings.
JOB REPONSIBILITIES:Perform conceptual, FEED and detail design of onshore works, oversee and ensure feasibility study, conceptual, basic and detailed engineering designs
Prepare civil structural design basis, design specifications, construction and installation work procedures, and cost estimations.
Interface with clients and coordinate with other disciplines.
Perform piling calculation, equipment foundations calculation, and structure stress analysis.
Prepare foundation layout, structure layout and detailed design, design and calculation of plant drainage system.
To determine lifting point for Equipment and SKID; to perform lifting structure design and calculation, work with Singapore PE to obtain PE endorsement and MOM load testing.
Prepare material take-off for concrete, Re-bar and steel structure.
Oversee and participate in design of both civil and structure, provide value engineering design to enhance the bidding process.
Coordinate with consultant for URA/JTC/LTA/BCA submission.
Resolve engineering/technical issues with consultants/clients
Involve in multi-disciplinary design projects with other departmentREQUIREMENT:Bachelor Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering
Minimum 8 years design experience in the Oil and gas, Petrochemical and related industries.
Good working knowledge of Singapore BCA code, BS/Euro and American codes/standards.
STAAD Pro, Foundation 3D, MAT 3D software knowledge advantageous.About Petroplan
